A Cause For Country moves to a new
format
3 days 30 hours of Canadian Country Music and
showcases at local venues will be just a part of the A
Cause For Country Festival. With some of Canada’s
Top country artists while also bringing some of the
local talent to light.
Working with local businesses around Edmonton - A
Cause for Country will also be providing
entertainment in local bars and restaurants.

Big things coming in 2018
Locations across Canada will get the chance to be a
part of the A Cause For Country Family, highlighting
and showcasing artists all across this great nation for
a great cause.
By introducing the A Cause for Country brand across
the Country it allows us to help even more families
recieve the service dogs that they need.
We look forward to working with our partners across
the country as we make A Cause for Country the
Country showcase for a casue.
A Cause For Country Founder
recognized
Ron Palmer Co-Founder of A Cause For Country was
recognized in 2016 by the Jefferson Award
Foundation and District 3 of the United Steelworkers
of Canada for his work on the Concert Series. Ron
was one of the first 3 ever recognized by the
Jefferson Award Foundation outside of United States.
Ron and His wife Stacy travelled to Pittsburgh
Pennsylvania, to attend a dinner and to receive Ron’s
Award
Ron looks forward to being able to continue his work
with Service Dogs in Canada and A Cause For Country
Foundation
A Cause for Country Kicks off in 2016
A Cause For Country kicked it’s heels into the foray
of country music events with a kick.
A Cause for Country announced it’s line up with a
cast of artists from across Canada all heading into
Edmonton to perform for charity - the Lion’s
Foundation of Canada Dog Guides
Heading up the lineup for the 2016 event was Cory
Marquardt from Northern Ontario, Outlaw Matty Rose
from Newfoundland, Maddison Krebbs from Okotoks,
and Steve Newsome from Stony Plain Alberta on
Saturday.
The Sundnay lineup was a host of local artists Jeremy
Dallas, Brad Sims, Olivia Rose Leaf, Olivia Wik,
Outlaw Matty Rose, as well as the Outlaw Country
Dancers and C3 : Caring Character Cosplay, and the
Edmonton Eskimos
