A Cause For Country Festival

Providing Canadian Country Music a venue and a Cause

A Cause for Country is Edmonton’s only Country Music Festival and Western Canada’s all Canadian Country Music Festival   Canadian Country Music Artists from across Canada and the World participate in the annual event to help.

Why?

The A Cause For Country Foundation’s first charity is the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides provides dog guides for various illnesses and disabilities, from Canine Vision Canada, which was established in 1985, to Hearing Ear, Service, Seizure Response, Autism Assistance, and newly introduced, Diabetic Alert Dog Guides. Lions Foundation of Canada's mission is to assist Canadians with a medical or physical disability by providing them Dog Guides at no cost. To do this, the Foundation operates Dog Guides Canada, a preeminent national training school and charity that assists individuals with disabilities. We hope to raise at least $25000.00 from this year’s event.

What Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides

The Lion’s Foundation of Canada Dog Guides provides dog guides and service dogs to eligible recipients at no cost. The cost to raise one dog from breeding to being a member of a team is up to $25,000 or more, with all training provided by Lion’s Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.
